We have grown through our simple philosophy - asking, learning and understanding what brings our loyal patrons back to us. It is simple – constant training, friendly staff, and giving people the true meaning of a food experience. We also appreciate that a restaurant is only as good as its employees. Because they are part of our extended family, each one is treated like a customer – with respect and understanding. We encourage our wait staff to taste and experience every menu item, through food tastings at regular meetings, in this way the customer can be certain of an educated response when they ask what a particular dish is about.

We believe in promoting from within and encourage growth. Which is why our head chefs take pride in their kitchen, all of them at some point started out by cleaning the kitchen first and because of our commitment to them, they take pride in what they do.

Passion is NOT an illusion...
Our passion is simple. We are passionate about food and we are passionate about people and our philosophies.

For this reason, we only serve what works for our customers. This is synergistic with our philosophy. It is the spreading of this passion and the fact that you feel it the minute you enter the restaurant, that we have had peoplespending up to nine hours in a our restaurant eating and drinking.

Our recipe for success...
We cannot change the taste of a beer…. the only change we can make is the glass it is served in. There needs to be other attractions – food that you don't find on traditional menus; a sense of belonging; special touches; and a different kind of magic.

Usually a promotion is a promotion is a promotion... This is not the case at Catz Pyjamas. We’ve used bands such as Flat Stanley, DNA Strings, and Zumar; had promotions with Jack Daniels and Jose Quervo; and boast birthday parties that are still being spoken about.
